Happy Easter
Just wanted to say hello again! It has been about a year since I have posted. I am trying to get back into blogging. I hope everyone has been well:) Easter is tomorrow and I just wanted to say how thankful I am for all the blessings in my life. This time last year we were in the hospital with Madi and she was 1 day old. She was born on Good Friday and we took her home Easter afternoon. It was the best weekend of my life. That child has been a little miracle for Will and I. God sacrificed his only son for us, so that our sins would be forgiven. He gave us the greatest gift of all!!! Tomorrow we will celebrate Jesus, rising from the dead so that we might have eternal life. So remember tomorrow how awesome our God is! HE IS RISEN!!!!! Dont forget to count your blessings!
Good night and God Bless

We're back on....
Hey yall! Sorry it has been awhile. So much has happened since the last post. Obviously, you can tell that I have not been committed to this blog, but I have had a change of heart! I hope to update all of you on a regular basis...not because I think you care, but because writing is therapuatic, haha! Because we live away for most of the year it is a good way to stay in touch with friends and family. I have really enjoyed reading all of my friends blogs while in New Orleans. So...where do I begin?? Well, the chapter in Seattle came to a close a year ago and now Will is playing for the New Orleans Saints. This has been wonderful because we are much closer to home. But, it was a bitter sweet move because we loved our friends in Seattle. They became our family and that was really hard to leave. Now we have found a new group of friends and can still have our Seattle friends, who have been dispersed all over the United States. It has definitely been an change, but as you know I do love hot weather! But currently we are back home in Auburn, our heart of hearts!!! Will and the Saints had an awesome season and while there was no superbowl to conclude the season it was still a great one! Next year is the Saints year, I can feel it (hint, hint God)! But, being home has been wonderful! One of the biggest events and most exciting is that my dad just got married!!!:) Yes, he did, to a wonderful, amazing and precious woman named Beki. The Lord totally brought them together, there is no doubt in my mind about that! I could not be happier for them and I truly do love her! She has embraced Will and I like her own and I look forward to many happy years with her and my dad!!! Well, that's all for this morning, but more will come tomorrow! I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and God Bless! I have just recently realized that if you start your day thanking the Lord for your blessings your whole attitude will be more positive with Him at your side!!!

So life has taken some turns, some good and some bad, but at the end of the day you have to trust in God. If there is one thing I have learned it is that life is too short. I now value everyday with the loved ones in my life. I cant stress that enough. I am so blessed with the support of all my friends and family. Will and I now live in Auburn, AL and we have loved every minute of it. We bought a precious house and we plan on living there for a while! In case you have not heard...the NFL lockout ended yesterday and FREE AGENCY started today. We are so eager to see where we will end up. WE have been in Seattle for the past four years and we could not have asked for a better team and family there. But now a chapter is closing and a new one is opening. We are so eager to see what God has in store for us. So we will fill you in as soon as we find something out! Goodnight and hopefully we will have answers tomorrow!

HERRING FITNESS
As you probably all have heard, the NFL owners have locked the players out for the remaining off season in hopes that they will get more money, provide less health benefits, and force the players into an 18 game season. This is insane. If you understand anything about professional football you would know that the now 16 game season is long enough already. The constant wear and tear on these guys bodies is brutal. And adding two more games will only increase the amount of injuries and add players to the injured reserve. Concussions are also a huge concern to not only the players but the families as well. The immediate effects are scary, but what really makes me nervous is the long term effects of what happens when you are hit in the head over and over again. We have to keep the health and over all well being of these players in tact in order for fans to continue enjoying the game they love. Without these players the game would be worthless. In the meantime... my husband and I are taking advantage of this unemployment situation and trying to engage in something we both enjoy doing. We are starting a small business called HERRING FITNESS. It is a small, 24/7 fully automated fitness center. We both enjoy working out and staying in shape. It is imperative that Will continue to stay in shape in the off season and we thought why not make it into a fun business opportunity as well. We hope to appeal to those individuals who are tired of the over crowed Gold's gym, and World Gym and want something smaller and more intimate. We have created a fitness facility that allows you to work out when it is most convenient for you! It is open day and night 7 days a week. We have surveillance cameras running at all times for your safety. Each member will be given an access code that they will enter into our front door key pad to enter the gym. The door will always be locked except for open door hours. Open door hours will be from 3-7pm Monday-Thursday. A manager will always be on site during these open door hours. Guests will be able to take tours and sign up for membership. We will also offer personal training. Check out our website to see the membership rates and other info for HERRING FITNESS. HERRING FITNESS is your home gym away from home.
Our grand opening celebration will be Saturday, April 2nd, from 10 am - 2 pm. Come join us for food, fun and autographs from past and present Auburn football players: Zach Clayton, Zac Ethridge, Ben Obomanu, and Will Herring. We look forward to seeing you all there!

it is really late and I cant sleep...sometimes when I cant sleep I start daydreaming about all that has happened over the past few weeks. it all seems so surreal. its like I have been in this terrible dream and I cant wake up. but then, when I do finally wake up I realize it wasnt a dream at all. it really all happened. no matter how many times I go over it in my head everything remains as it is. there are no variables that change or any pieces I have missed. I just have to come to grips with the fact that she is gone. when God takes someone out of the world they are gone forever from this world. but they have just begun their eternal life with Him in heaven. when u think about it that way it is very comforting. we will continue to hurt for her and yearn for her to be here but she is in a much better place. a place where all of her sins have been washed clean, although she had very few. she is in perfect condition and feels no fear or tortureous thoughts. we can all be thamkful for that. That is where I now am in this whole process. the thankfulness of her being in heaven, at peace greatly outweighs the pain of her not being here. I will always miss her more than anything, and im sure my days will still be sad, but ultimately she is in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I will thank God everyday for that. dad,and I will eventually learn how to move on in life , but it wont be without her...no, she is still very much a part of our lives, through our memories of her and by the example she left us of how to be true christian servant! I love u mom and always will everday of this life and the next:)

Mt Rainier with Dad and Grandmama!
My Dad and Grandmother have been in town for a couple of weeks and we have been super busy. My Dad has been totally remodeling our house. It looks so so good! I cannot believe all that he has done. He is an amazing handy man and a work horse. I am so thankful for him being here!!! He is the best dad ever:) Love you DAD!!! I will post some pics soon of all the new stuff we have done, but first I want show some pics of Mt Rainier. It is a mountain that is about 2 hrs from Seattle and it is spectacular. It is 14,000 ft and is beautiful. Me, dad, and grandmama went up last week and loved it.
This is our view of Mt Rainier when we were about an hour away. It gets so much bigger.
We are getting closer...
This is a half way point, already 7,000 ft up the mountain.
More to come!!!
