Jana and Baby Colton
This is baby Colton about three hours after he was born. He is adorable and Jana is such a proud mom. He was 9 lbs 1 oz. And he was 21 inches long, born at 6:05 pm. He is such a little miracle. God gives us the most precious gift of all, the gift of life. And He is so good. I am so happy for Kyle and Jana. Now they are the parents of two beautiful children. It has been so amazing to watch their little family grow. I cant wait to see this little guy grow up. More pictures of the baby will come soon!

Loving American Idol
I am thrilled with the results of American Idol. While either contestant would have made America proud, Kris Allen was my winner of choice. Don't get me wrong, Adam is amazing and will definitely do BIG things, but I would buy a Kris Allen album right now. I am so sad the season is over, but I will fill the void with the show "So You Think You Can Dance". It is incredible and the talent this year is unreal. I feel like I can live vicariously through the contestants. HAHAHA!
Waiting for baby Colton...
Like I mentioned earlier, my friend Jana is about to pop. She is my best friend in Seattle and has given me a very close look into motherhood. She has a daughter named Kylie who just turned three, and is awaiting her little boy Colton. I love Kylie dearly and feel like and aunt to her. She is the most precious three year old who has a mind of her own. I am so excited for her to have one more. Jana is married to Kyle who plays football with Will. They are like our makeshift family since we are all so far from home. We have all experienced so much together. It has been wonderful meeting such wonderful friends in this chapter of our lives. The Lord is wonderful like that. He puts great people in our lives for good reason. I am so blessed right now in my life and could not be happier. I will keep you all posted on the upcoming birth. Thats all I have tonight!

I am new at this :)
This is my first post as a blogger. I just needed one more thing to fill up my spare time. As if there isn't enough stuff going on. Well right now Will and I are in Seattle for about three more weeks, then its back to Alabama. We are so excited to be home for a month. While we love Seattle and all its green beauty, we cant wait to get back to our southern roots. It is a little ironic that two home bodies would get married and move as far away as possible. We both love our hot humid weather, southern hospitality, and fried food. See all you Alabamians very soon. But currently my best friend in Seattle is going to have her baby any day. So I am just waiting for the phone call at two in the morning. I cant wait!!!
